I have the beginning signs of CPS in my left hand, and I decided to do something about it. This seems to be the solution if you use a laptop.
The pads are NOT gel, they're foam (which is clearly mentioned in the description, but the name "Intelligels" alludes to otherwise).
I like it! It supports my wrists just as advertised, and on top of it, it doesn't slide all around, which I was worried it might do. And yes, it's comfortable to type with it. It fits my 3-year-old Gateway laptop just fine.
Really, no complaints at all!

I have to agree with the other Mac reviewer - I am very disappointed. The opening is not large enough for macbook trackpads, but if you read the description, you would not pick up on that.

A pretty great wrist pad for a notebook computer at a decent price ($12.99). It's a simple product, so I'll break it down to two parts that could help others consider the product: fit and build.
FIT: I've used it on two notebooks. One is a pc (sony vaio fw series), the other a macbook (13" white model). The fit is exact on both models, with the hollowed space for the track pad also fitting perfectly. I did not have an issue, as another reviewer did, w/ interference w/ the button on my macbook track pad (not sure of the dimensions for different apple notebooks).
BUILD: It's very lightweight and can be loosely folded in half (or just kept as is) for travel in a computer bag. It's made of a tough foamy material that feels robust, so should last long. For wrist support, this is a good product, but not great. I would have preferred if the padding was a tad bit softer (if it conformed more to the weight of the wrists, which makes working on the computer for long hours much more pleasant); but that's a preference, and my roommate disagrees. It also just looks nice w/ its simple but stylish design.
Overall, product recommended. (4.5 stars, if only amazon allows for half marks)

As a student, I spend HOURS in front of my laptop at a time. I was developing RSI's after studying intensely for a previous exam, so I did some research online, read product reviews, and eventually came across this (as well as the "Latosta Portable Laptop/Notebook Stand"). Used together, I've had no more wrist or forearm strains, and I'm noticing a greater flow of blood to the skin to bottom of my wrists (which were getting darker and calloused). Very much recommended!!!
One more thing, I just wanted to qualify their statement that this works with "ALL LAPTOP BRANDS & MODELS"--my laptop is a Lenovo X61T, and I had to modify my intelligels wrist rest in order so that I could access the mouse buttons properly. I just cut out the thin part, which is supposed to border the top of your touchpad, quite easily actually with a normal pair of scissors.
